@ Cory: How's it going? I have a weller, lvl 64, usually I hit around 90% success rate. If you need info about them I am your man, or you can ask Nev, he also has a mage weller.

is saphire axe worth welling?

YES. I keep every white item lvl 10 and up, especially weapons. Some people would argue (Nev included... ) that there is no real point welling leathers/scale armors because no one uses them, and he is mostly correct. However, you can also get nice side drops from time to time, so I well everything.

At level 64, your side drops can be level 55. This is why I stay at 64 (suicide when I am about to level up) so the monsters dont get harder, and I can get lvl 55 items (whites AND magical+) as a side drop. For some reason though, this makes level 10 items sometimes VERY hard. The level gap has a lot to do with it, i believe.

To make a long story short, I threw in a level 10 Lightning, when I was level 64, and got back the lightning (which was junk) and a 92% EE lvl 55 AXE. There have been many times I have tossed in a low tier item and gotten lvl 55 white items as side drops too.

well i have to say i weell everything i find includin tiers 1, 2, leathers scales lol, doing that u have more chances of a second godly well, my int hm staff sold for 4.5k was a second drop from a well, also found several 100ee charms in the same way as second drop from a crap tier1, also i find several whites as second drop from low lvl tiers. just for help

you can try welling it with your barb, but test something else first, like a lvl 15 item to see if you can do it.

i spent around 1K fg on my weller, and that is fairly modest compared to some.

um im getting a little scared now

dont be scared. my brother (normanbates) wells on his barbarian, and passes most of them. he has "budget" gear compared to lots of people. try it out on your barb, and my advice is if you have level 10 items to well, try them around level 15-20ish. dont attempt a level 10 item when you are level 50. stick close to your level until you see what can happen.
