This is what I am doing... but I am FINE TUNING it to reap better rewards... I am gaining Profs in two (2) areas EVERYTIME (basically).
Staff: When I attack and kill
Focus: When I Heal up

The fine tuning comes from the way you use both skills while you are in Arena and grinding... example:
You only gain one (1) type of Proficiency when you are engaged with a monster... so...
... if you attack at the start of battle ... you will only get Prof for that attack... not for healing when in same battle
... the same goes for healing at the start of battle... you only gain Prof in healing... not attack

I started LS around June this year... and my profs are phenominal compared to many that have been here since the introduction
of the "Proficiencies" ... 52 Ranks Total... pretty impressive to ME...

+41% Heal Mastery

im thinking the first one for sure cuz all the bonus mods

works great as an mq heal with my guardian. but higher int and hm setup
but for sammy will cost less mana but less effective lower int even if i go pure int

should i go a to a certain point with int then go str ??? or just pure int. i would like to do decent dmg and decent heals at the same time

chain for sure, phys dmg reduction is sweet, and the rest of the mods are super useful, unless you need more of a tanker and are short on heals.
