so true... can do nothing but join you and rant on that

bah i hate these providers, especially in germany.
you have that 1 big company responsible for most of the communication and they know very well that you depend on them no matter what...
the smaller providers are usually even worse because they lack the technical and personal quality. thats why they got some kind of monopoly they can abuse.
went through this shit so often, there were problems every week and i used to phone them and give them hell.

became a kind of hobby almost and i got quite good at that after some time.
its unbelievable how much can actually go wrong. lag, disconnection at certain times. no connection at all on certain days.
the router station or receiver being broke suddenly etc.
we had problems with our wireless internet connection especially in the last years. but instead of getting some real support they just took ages and didnt help proper.
they wouldnt care because loosing a small client is not a problem at all and there are not many alternatives.
and ofc course they even made money from us phoning that expensive hotlines....
but the internet support is crap and one cant just wait and sit it out or drive to their main headquarters kicking some asses

often enough being diplomatic helps, but not in such cases because they just ignore you then.
usually if getting straight to the point without any polite asking it goes way faster...
if those guys have no clue or dont help proper i just ask for their names and tell them to forward me to their boss.
its a miracle almost how fast things can change then suddenly and i do get the help either from the boss or the agent.
one time this guy didnt want to understand that i needed the internet connection to finish my term paper.
not in a few days, but damn NOW.
after long discussions (most of the time he trying to make me wait some days and they would look for the problem)
i told him i got enough of that bullshit and wanted to speak to the boss.
he didnt want to at first, but i insisted and had him talking to me a couple of seconds later.
result: they sent an expert to our house on the very same day without extra costs and he found out that the router
had an internal error caused by a bad production in the factory.
it was not even us messing something up like they wanted to make me believe but them.
he replaced it totally free, we plugged it in and a moment later i was back online

its a pain in the ass lately to find games. not even talking of good games, just games in general...
ended up most of the way solo because i was tired of waiting or people bailing me after some runs as healer.
suggesting we go for some xxx-rated laby catacomb again soon

I really hate that about ISP's!!! It's ridiculous! I hate dealing with the people who say "Well it's not our problem it's your's!" It just aggrivates me so much. Okay, genius! If I have done nothing different for weeks, how come suddenly everything is broken? "Okay sir, we'll send a Technician out, is 9 weeks 5 days and 12 hours good for you?" GRRR! lol. Talking to their boss often helps. I hate when I get the "Well, my supervisor won't be able to do anything more than I can for you." Wanna bet, jerk?
