I don't have a problem with newbs. What I do have a problem with, is "newbs" who either can't read or don't take the time and effort to do anything besides hit the join request button. That has been part of this guild longer than I have, and it has been a big reason that I personally respect Empire as much as I do. I'm sure I don't need to remind you that accepting "just anyone" was something that (as far as I know) most of us thought poorly of The Trust for doing not long ago.

We do not just exept anyone, we expet anyone who fits the guildlines in the charter. Our standards stay in place. Rather than making them get on vent before joining we are exepting them and giving them time to get on. We can encourage them to get on vent and teach them the ways of ladder slasher. AT any point, if a member witnesses them break our code of conduct, they are gone on the spot. In the first PM they are sent this should be explained to them.
When i joined Empire I had done 1 MQ . Dave (animage) and many other knowledgable people taught me to play the game and helped me with gear. We can do the same for other people.
We may be skipping over some really good people that just need some guidance. If they fit the guildlines, lets give them a chance...
