Might as well throw my 2 cents in here.
Rerolling for proficiencies I would only recommend to some people. You are not one of those people

you have fg, you have gear, and you have experience at playing the game. I only recommend rerolling for proficiencies if you have none of those. If you already have a decent wind set, or close to it, then by
far the fastest way to gain proficiencies is to just solo climb and cast with winds the whole way.
The best 2 ways that rerolling will help is that 1) you only need a couple charms of the same type to do it, and 2) it can be slightly faster if you are really dedicated to it.
That said, you don't really gain anything besides proficiencies from going that route (you can't find sellable items or earn GPs) so it is not worth it to me.
If you just solo climb as much as you can then your profs will jump up pretty fast. I only recommend re-rolling to budget slashers (and noobs, like Jesse) so don't waste your time with it in my opinion.

To gain caster prof you should make a mage instead of a rogue because they have more mana than a rogue. So for the build many people have different opinion but after trying many I finaly find a good one. Nev also have a good one but i think max mana/max life is better. Lmk if you need more information.

My 2 cents on the topic. I got to lvl 2 light pretty easy by rerolling at lvl 10. I have good max mana items at low lvl and found it went quick. Anything above 2 prof I would agree that soloing was the way to go. Justin got to lvl 5 light pretty easy just soloing when no one on and cata when there was a game he could cast in. T - minus 1 hour 48 mins until MQ CLIMB!
Thanks everyone. I had strongly considered remaking the rogue a mage after I mq tonight for the sole purpose of hitting the arena this weekend. I attempted to cast some last night with the rogue and saw a big time fail headed my way. I was iso mana after just a few monsters. I know I can beef it up fairly quickly using a mage.
You guys ROCK!!
