From experience... pure Dex... but.. get a charm with some nice strength...

E: on the second one pure dex only if you going to use a low dmg weapon.. so crits won't do really much any dmg.. but youd still be hitting to get the point in a proficency

Not quite sorry... Arena means better PROFS... and this means MORE Dex... not strength

Okay... honestly... pure dex if you do not have any Dex items...
If you have some dex items that you are going to use to the end levels... then you can xfer some levels to Strength

Because... I love the Wall... it takes people time to get over it... and hopefully by the time they do... they forget wtf they were going to dispute and just give up...
I think it is polite to post a wall quoting everyone at one time... to me it is less time consuming and I do not get any Warn from Trusted (etc) for abusing the Edit function...
