Anyone else seem to be a few days behind in the news?
http://abcnews.go.com/International/WireStory?id=7751636&page=4AirFrance flight 447 disintegrated mid or, or on contact with the water. Carrying 226 passengers, it was en route to France after taking off from Colombia. AirFrance has released a statement indicating there are no survivors.
Though still early to determine the cause, "petot tubes" are currently sharing the blame with severe weather. It is under speculation that the petot tubes had frozen and ceased functioning after passing through a storm. The storm in question had updrafts of over 100mph. It is those updrafts that are being blamed, for bringing moist air up to the planes flight level and for increasing turbulence. Unofficially the main cause in question is; Petot tubes froze over ceasing there function, when the petot tubes stopped working correctly, pilots lost the abillity to read Indicated Air Speed (IAS). Without being able to monitor their speed, flight 447 flew too fast into a storm with severe turbulence. It is suspected that the plane was flying too fast, creating too much force on the place as it went through turbulence forcing the plane "disintegrate" in mid-air.
Officials are still trying to locate the flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder.
Aside from that hope everyones doin good.
