I did a bit of reading about D2r ... guessing you can still use your old CDkeys as long as you are updated to 14.?

Well still slowly slashing and mucking around.

Yeah I think having a set time each month to do them, maybe like first week and then third week, and organizing moves around those times would be nice. Also saves fg to not buy them every week. (I'm not too keen on dumping fg back into the system right now for reasons in all our recent post history)

More to come on that.

As far as D2R, I've read existing saves can be imported which is incredible. I don't know how the cd key part works, as they are moving it onto the battle net 2.0 servers (which will help against bots and dupes thankfully)

I plan to get it, just trying to decide which platform. I have a nice big OLED tv and a new xbox series x that I would love to play it on, but I dont know if it will be cross platform, if I can't play with my pc boys that could be a factor.

I know its cross progression, meaning I could play on xbox and then load the same char on a pc, so maybe I'll be on both.

Either way I'm on board with it. It looks nice and true to the original with a few quality of life improvements like shared stash (no more drop muling and having a game not exist or real down losing gear!)

You will always be our first, I remember a long time ago I was just learning ls and looking for a guild as I was told that was a good idea, to have my gp go towards something and to meet others playing the game.

Pretty sure you PM me and said I was welcomed to join. This was my first and only place since then, and I look back and think about what we've done, taking a small group of misfits (myself included) and managed to get on the first page of the guild list. Doing things like mirror maze, having someone reset ladder (woot elias!), helping countless new players learn and with gear, and in the end just having a good time.

I've got friends here that I've never met in real life, but feel like I have. We've had busy times, afk times, times of banding together and also times of disagreement. In the end, we all play this game and enjoy it for one reason or the other, in our own ways as well as collectively. It's a good space to be in.

Than you sir. I will honor your legacy and continue on with what you started long long ago.

So so so many good times here with you all, and if you would have told me when I bought this guild that we'd get it to page 1 I don't think I would have believed it. And I'm so thankful that I can be gone for literally years and pop in to catch up when I'm able to. And speaking of which, I actually gotta run right now so I'm gonna be lazy and just copy/paste what I just PM'd Jesse but I'll try come back with a better update at some point in the future!


I've been good, ups and downs of course. Been with the same partner for almost 9 years now (we'll get married one of these days), and she just recently got her teaching credential and is now teaching in a special education classroom. I was working in a computer store for a few years then had a falling out with the owners - shortly before they went out of business ironically - then worked in the cannabis industry for a while, but actually I just got a new job (starting Monday) working at a really fantastic local business that makes incredible mallet percussion instruments so I'm super excited about that. Covid definitely hit California pretty hard but I'm far enough north that we're pretty isolated so it's been better than it could have been. Lots of my friends have gotten the vaccine so things are somewhat slowly returning to normal, though there are definitely lots of people in this area who just pretend that the virus doesn't exist. Overall we've been really lucky with how things turned out and have been thankful for that.

Damn, that may be an issue, I am guessing I may have to get a better PC... don't think the 1gb RAM will meet the criteria...

yeah prob will need an upgrade. although i did hear soemthing about being able to play with the oldschool graphics if you want to as well.
