Items best list was just reset and he effectively reset the items in LS for gear to a point on what ppl desire. When he says 'absorb', i presume that you would gain that life when they hit you if over 100%? Looks like the new stats are OP by far and will be a priority to seek them out...
Oh god, the theory crafting i already have with this...
- Element Mastery stats will increase the damage of that particular element, as well as increase your elemental resistance against damage taken for that element
- If your effective element reduction total is over 100%, you will absorb the % amount over 100. For instance, if you have 105% fire mastery/MDR, you will absorb 5% fire damage
It's nothing very noticeable at all yet, cause it's all broken. heal mastery isn't working, neither is the elemental mastery. It has a 2 per tier cap just like exp. and we're not sure how it works yet. like prof 1%=1ee or like heal mastery with a larger ratio per point. won't know till it's fixed and can test. no one will get 100 anything unless you glyph. can only get 28 per item and the odds of getting them on something usable to your element are more slim than getting exp gear that high with usable ee. Defensively it's minor and something like life steal would work more than a single element resistance vs how much you get hit by that element and the odds of getting a high ee + said element resistance on an armor. It does tweak some item values. But don't do anything yet to best in game stuff till we see how much it works and how it works compared to the heal mastery ratio range.
