you could set your phone as an access point and use your mobile internet via laptop

i know how to do that, but i have sucky internet on my phone. Would not be able to play LS

Portable WiFi hotspot came to Android before iPhone. Because last year when we had platoon party people with iPhone couldnt share their internet so we could listen to Spotify so i had to do it with my Android ^^
But like i said i dont have 4G on my phone since i dont need it up in the north and the internet speed on 3G isnt fast enough to play LS i believe because even with my 100Mbit internet at my apartment i lag on LS with my 16x MS xD
Imagine what the MS would be with my phone internet speed then!

hm when i what to ping the LS server what is the adress u write in CMD?

is it:
ping ladderslasher.d2jsp.org ? when i try to ping it ( through my phone internet ) it only gets ping timeout. So can only guess the internet speed is to slow to even try ping the LS server ^^

ever since the DDoS attacks a month ago, I think there is something set that prevents it from being pinged anymore, the old method gets me Request Timed out

I can use my 3g phone to tether to mu computer and create my own wifi connection. Yours should be strong enough.
