Looks good Rick, but I'm gonna toss in my 1 cent ( can't afford 2 at once ....

) I like the new format, but maybe a small change to think about and it will probably be about the same amount of time, but give us more info. I was thinking show level instead of pass/attempt ratio.
Instead of : CrankyCritHitter -=- Fighter // Paparick (0/8)
Change to : CrankyCritHitter -=- Fighter (25) // Paparick
I dunno.... thinking about it even more, it's too much of a hassle to do the levels. That does take a lot of time I know and I know that is what you are trying to save. I was just thinking that knowing if someone had an off level ( not 1 or 71---- like 36) would be better than knowing pass/attempt ratio. I really don't think it will crush anyones feelings if you drop that minor detail from the list

CrankyCritHitter -=- Fighter// Paparick
Thanks everyone for your responses, and especially you, James for this input.
You were right on with your last paragraph - the fast levelling that is the standard today was causing me to
spend much time copy/pasting/adjusting various characters.
And I agree that the pass/climb numbers really don't matter much, and by deleting them,
I will have one less thing per char to update.
So - the only time I have to do anything to our character listings now is to move them up to the next class as required,
or
(SHUDDER) delete one
(SHUDDER) when this:

And I think it looks a hell of a lot neater as well:
