Whats does a fighter use? like whats the best type of armor/weapons etc ( remind u this is going to be my hardcore character) lmk

The Fighter is a highly balanced warrior adept in all around forms of combat. The Fighter is both balanced and valiant, yet is not a master of any form. Closely engaged battles are what the Fighter prefers, but they are not as sure of themselves as the battle hardened Barbarian. This does not stop the Fighter from being adept with their weapons, as they are more intelligent than their melee counterparts and skillfully use their weapons to inflict their damage, rather than relying on brute force alone.
Equipment that a fighter can use:
Weapons: Sword, Club, Axe, Longsword, Spear, Polearm
Armor: All Types
Charms: All Types

since it's HC, i recommend your first priority is to put the 10 stat points into vit

then, look for dex mods on armor and charm, adding statpoints to str

or, look for str mods on armor and charm, adding stat points to dex.

get the best EE you can get on your weapons, try for the heaviest armor with EE if you can, and you should be good to go

I recommend clubs They work nicely
A little better then a sword because not such a low minimum damage.

But axes are also good for concentrated or more consistent damage.
