My turn for a bit of a rant - but it is not health-related.

Thanks to some very friendly players yesterday, I was able to rescue 2 stranded characters, and park them in the mini-slam que.

Then, hoping for a decent 1 - 71 run, I ran into the king of all lag-spikes and was unable to do anything for about 5 minutes.
Lag went away, my screen went into catch-up mode and I was treated to a laser-show that would have done credit to a rock concert.

Slashed a bit more with the forgiving players who had kept me alive during lag-time, and then got whammed with another spike.
This one lasted for 10 minutes, and by the time I was able to log in to LS again, my playing partners had either kicked me for safety reasons, or I had dropped out

Anyway - I now have another stranded char thanks to the dreaded lag monster.

My apologies to the players I was with - but I see it happening to many players lately

if i had guys close to ur lvl rick i would be in a hurry to help ya out i am in the middle of a 11 day 12 hour shift fun time at work will try to work some slashin in soon

Appreciated -the rant is at the lag more than anything else.
I usually have no problems getting rescued by sympathetic players

Looking at porn isn't the problem. It's just that he tries to d/l all of the latest at the same time. :rofl:

I'm guessing it's summer time in NZ. It sounds like my little backwards kiwi is ripe and ready to be picked. I used to love working on the farm. Unfortunately, I haven't had to in quite a few years now. Feeding the animals, Plowing, planting and picking. It really is hard to beat just picked fruits and veggies. Fresh eggs right out of the chicken. I really do miss it. I had a motorcycle then, but still would rather saddle up a horse and go for a ride. It is just so peaceful. I miss it so much........

I'm certainly glad your issue isn't health related. It took me a while to get over the last one. Gave me quite a scare.

It's not that players are sympathetic, they just want to be able to say they were in a run with the infamous PapaRick. :hug:
