New ls update.


Things I like:


-- Fishing first action snag bug fixed
-- Suffusencing a single fish or comfrey would not give it EE appropriately (stacks did work).
-- Transmuting difficulty significantly decreased at lower levels.
-- Mirror Maze now gives 2 to 5 guild points upon completion
-- Fish/Comfrey stacks now total the amounts added, rather than averaging them. This will ensure that no amount is lost with high quantity stacks!
-- Guild vault transfer day purchases are now logged and viewable in the guild logs
-- Glyphs now show remaining time in a shortened form when in use.
-- Viewing the ladder shows your character highlighted if on the ladder.
-- Master Quest has been given a SIGNIFICANT overhaul and update.
-- To move position in the catacombs, click the arrow next to your name. Far left = back, far right = forward, middle = middle.
-- To auto attack, click and hold the left mouse button. Down arrow requirement has been removed! This applies to all monsters and other players!
-- Trashcan on the vault withdraw page, to quick delete items you no longer want
-- Inventory Equipment movable -- will save positions upon logging out for next login!
-- Quick-bar and Selected Attack also are saved between sessions
-- Sort icons added to equipment and items
-- Catacombs has been updated; players now appear along the left side. Group stats pop-up when hovering on the Experience bar.
-- All character images have been redrawn
-- Characters now show the equipment you are wearing! This also applies to other players in catacombs!
-- Pretty much all the graphics have been updated
-- Modular layout, more control over customizing the positioning of windows, etc.

Things I do not like:

-- To CHAT, press ENTER to open the chat box, type, then hit enter to send.
removes the ability to quickly look at the previous text msg by glancing down. And seriously hampers your ability to quickly show your newly acquired items. Also enables you to adjust the statistics of each item placed in the chat log.


-- Catacombs has been updated; players now appear along the left side. Group stats pop-up when hovering on the Experience bar.
players should be on the far left side with life and mana bars in the middle between the character mini's and the monsters. Their is only one reason to look at the character and that's to see who is wearing what type of armor. After that they are just int he way and make peripheral looks at your life and other players life and mana more difficult.


-- All items now display in an icon format, with text as follows:
---- Top left = magical level (# of magical stats)
---- Top right = item tier
---- Bottom right = quantity (if applicable)
very timely now to check each item for grabbing. also the tier and magic value are to dim should be darker and more contrasting.


-- Complete client rewrite -- should operate much smoother, and faster on all machines!
Seems to lag more then before.


-- Moved chat logs out of a stationary window. You can toggle a movable chat logs history window with the "L" key.
The logs are static so you must close the window and reopen to view a current log.


-- Drops appear in a pop-up (you can move this wherever you want.) You can toggle it with the "O" key.
Creates a very easy way for drop clickers to grab all items. Now all slashers must drag the mouse to the drop box to pick up items increasing the odds that drop clickers will grab all items. this will create all users camping the box. Also the box does not expand when the allotted space is used it creates a drop down bar. this is unrealistic.


-- Bars are now located to the left of users character images.
These bars are not contrasting enough with the full amount and current amount. The bars should be contrasting colors. Also they are to small and should be expanded greatly.


-- Proficiency bars and numbers/symbols are new and updated.
it is very hard to tell how full each bar is for your proficiency now, and the box is still to small.


-- Double click to leave the Catacombs feature now added to prevent accidental leaving.
This is false. it takes more like 4 clicks to leave and this is creating many more unnecessary deaths at the last moment when players are exposed to monsters outside their survivability range.


-- To move position in the catacombs, click the arrow next to your name. Far left = back, far right = forward, middle = middle.
It is very hard to tell what position each slasher is occupying at each time. Only with a user in all slots is it defined enough to tell. Columns should be set in place or dividers to help differentiate the fields of position.

This position should be saved between catacombs as well as window locations and quick-keys.


-- Modular layout, more control over customizing the positioning of windows, etc.
This feature while nice is not practical as all the windows are much to large and require that you play in a seriously reduced format in order to accommodate the larger windows. These windows should be scalable. This could be accomplished by adding a 3rd option to the settings menu. Giving the option to scale all windows to [Small] [Medium] [Large]

-- Chat fades to prevent large amounts of data building up on the screen.
This should be adjustable with an additional option in the settings menu. Fade speed: [Fast] [Normal] [Slow]

I agree with you chief...

A suggestion would be to make the item drop box go up and down rather than side to side.. would be WAY better imo

yep would be nice if there was a way to select vertical or horizontal menu's as well

wow tetsu is a prick. I joined his game because it sat up for like 20 min with no melee characters and he said nn noobs asked why i was in back and kicked me. no prob thats why most slashers dont like seasoned members of ls. they are all pricks.
