Haha yeah i got to know that during the time, had no idea of this before when selecting the name many years back.
So funny!!! Some people kept talking or writing to me in polish and i didnt understand why till someone told me about the translation

It doesnt have any meaning in my language ( at least none that im aware off )
But i also heard there is a town in Japan with this name and an artist from Brasil.
Looks like its quite international

I picked it because "Malte" was already in use as a username here.
It was the name of my very first diablo2 character back in the days, a fire sorceress.
Its an abbreviation of 2 or 3 elvish words because im a huge lotr fan, have to look them up again for the exact words though.



Sounds good, will hopefully have more time tomorrow so that we can go for it!
