Typically I use the axe and put everything into Strength on my climb. Would it be more beneficial to have the extra 500 life or the 5 stat pts for damage?


The 10 VIT will actually translate into more than just 500 HP towards the mid/end of the climb, which is nice if you don't have superb armors. (you gain HP each level-up relative to the amount of VIT you have from hard-points)

Also, using axes you could try sticking with the 50/50 STR/DEX ratio for optimum damage/crit. :)
