the fg sink in LS is produced via the amrket place by paying a fee upfront.
There are only a few mechanics in this site to vanish fg, like bold/red, enhanced search options and hourly raffle.
basically no1 can say that ls was designed to destroy fg since the playerbase was ever low.
comparing the 50 players today with the 200+ in the past times when the glory arena was around, the amount of fg taken out via the market place hasnt changed so much.
getting new players the way it is today will not work as long as they need to get fg from another source like LS. i probably wouldnt start to play this game if i didnt know it. I tried different browsergames liek freewars where you're basically forced to create a twink just to be able to learn abilities faster AFTER you waited like 500 days until your learning skill is maxed so your further skill-learn-time is reduced by like 30% each level.
it takes time to master a game or to get fat and fast in it, yes. But not beeing able to farm for certain stuff which lets you progress just kills all the fun in grinding.
imagine D2 where you cant lvl past the first 2 maps since your damage is too low, you hardly can kill mobs and everything in the first map only drops keys to non-existent chests.
The droprate needs to be fixed so that like 50-80ee items drop more often. So the early lvls can be completed faster, the mid-lvls get a bit hard but the endgame can still be done by investing a bit of time and grinding.
Making small amounts of FG dropable would bring new ppl, make them invest some coins and therefor increase the use of the market place so the fee would still be in use.
Since low-euqipped players will hardly find a group, solo needs to be more viable and different ability-setups should be playable (whoever plays a hybrid caster monk -.-) so that its worth keeping an ee-charm in the acc slot for melee-chars.
for every1 complaining that there are no drops:
whistling and spinning is your enemie. Minimizing the chances of any item to drop by not exploring and then complaining about the drop chances is like going to the flea-market and complaining that they dont offer the newest electronic devices.
Ofc there are not perf items dropping on every run, but we found a lvl 30 axe with 118 out of a treasure chest. Its not too spectacular, but theres still a chance something drops.
When we explore lvl 50 onwards, there is stuff dropping from ep's, maybe mostly low-tier-stuff but sometimes even higher.
Investing like 20 more mins on a climb to increase the chances isnt too much effort, at least for me. If you think otherwise, dont complain about the drops since you minimize your chances.
Back in the arena days, a medicore solo climb took about 2-3 hours. Nowadays a group climb takes merely 1hour. compare the time ffort and the dropchances.
