Imagine what will happen if just few of the users will get all the amazing items.
I think the drop rate is ok the way it is because there are very few new players in the game.
The problem is ...with the items that already exists... they are way too good for the current drop rate and its not fair.

If there were no items around and you mute that 55 dagger with 120ee... it would mean something.
But because there are a lot of items from the past... you only get frustration... "I mute 2k essences and get one crappy dagger."

what would happen if a new player find a 200 ee item? or some new players
u dont get 15k for such a dagger but arround 5-6 k if every month drop a 200 ee dagger
what would happen too? many new players and a lot of fun
every game that i played there a tons of nice items and that items are worth the half after few month
but in this time i have the chance to get nice items too and have fun in that game
does in ls exist a perfect item on 55? i never see one

This is not a game to play to make fg... this game was made to take out fg from d2jsp, to balance the economy of the site. And probably, Paul gets less then 100k fg per month. (He gets much more from the other stuff like bold/red titles, guilds, etc)

It not like you said... I can get T2 items from lvl 3... T3 items from lvl 8...
As a new player, without fg... you can play the game just fine: You can get to lvl 15 easy without good gear... then REROLL... you take all the items you mute them you get essences, you mute, you glyph, you fish... until you get items to go higher then lvl 15.
This shouldn't be a race to get perfects.
If a item worth now 10k fg ... is because its a rare item.
What if I spend 100k fg on gear and then Paul increase the drop rate... and everybody will pick up items close with what I bought?

You have such a high muting skill, yes, you should find tons of good items, its normal vs the time you invested.
But what happens to the other profs? they are at the ground right now compared to muting. PPl can play without fish and without glyph just fine.

I didnt said I dont agree with you, I said that for every change he makes... ones will be happy other not.
Things should be balanced... and he has to see every impact made on every change.

If just the drop rate increase... what happens to my fishing for example or to glyph? Better items does not mean the you need less fish and less glyph?

There are a lot of things that has to be improved but he has to think about everything when he makes a change. You are saying just what bothers, he has to think at every level

I want too things to get changed.. but the game is not what it was, and Im afraid he lost the interest on it.
