what do you mean Aoe? What is this?

AoE = Area of Effect.
There was a time where casters could only hit 1 monster at a time in Catacombs.
Now with AoE the casters can hit multiple monsters, if they get the Hit Check to cast AoE.

how do you apply for aoe? my mage can only hit 1 target at a time in cata how do i get to do this? i see it done in my games by other ppl, nobody wants to explain it to me

It is based on a few things. One, you need a full group (5 members) to really make it most effective. Two, you need to get your Proficiency level up in the charm you are using. Three, you need to have a full wave of 9 monsters to make it most effective also.

1. Full group
2. Full wave
3. Proficiency

Those three things will produce them most often. You can have a full group and no proficiency and still do them, but it is far less frequent.



edit: Nice heal! That's worth a few fgs, and it is definitely worth keeping until you find a replacement.

i wouldnt recommend trying unless you've got 9+ prof, you'll run out of mana very very fast with less

I think it's a 1% chance per prof point, with a 5% bonus for being in a full group.

that is a nice charm, my mage mostly used earth spells, cuz they where cheaper with high ee, but i quit my mage at lvl 41, i dont want to buy gear for her untill i unlock a character that needs spells and other gear that she could use it

also lvl 59 Sami thats lookn 4 group

Level 1 on the Lock, ISO a GOOD maze game preferably without randoms.


Also, IMO casting on the ninja is a bit pointless. They're not good casters and trust me, you will get HEAPS of prof really fast in just a few solo climbs when you hit warlock. Just focus on passing the ninja asap - those profs will rack up fast one you start casting on a casting class
