I agree with your poker advice, that is what I do, only more extreme. When I sell a sig, I make anywhere from 50-400fg. I then set aside anywhere from half to the whole amount for poker.

The last sig I made I sold for 200fg, it put me at 3.7k. I set aside that 200 only for poker, that way if I lost it all, I am still at 3.5k, no worries.

Besides, the thought of me being at 0fg without some heavy LS investments is sickening... so I gamble safely... just smart bankroll management.

i normally just do 100-250 don's. and i play with people that i know i can beat ill have that 3k in no time! all the partying this weekend from halloween held me back haha

In your scenario... I would only invest 50% of what I earned... example;
3,500fg ... Starting
0,200fg ... From Sig
3,700fg ... Total
0,100fg ... For Gambling
3,600fg ... Increase from Starting

This way... you still have a gain... and NO LOSS
This to me is extreme... and highly profitable

I have done that same scenario with 7's and 9's... I like the lower pair sometimes.
I have won a few games holding off suit 8 & 5 (going for the straight combo) when the first card is either:
10 / 9 / 6 / 7 or 4 ... and I have managed to get the straight on many occasions... funny really.

I like your idea... it is a positive... as for myself... I will try my darndest to stay away from gambling... being an Addict... I like to try and stay away (even though I stray from time to time... online using no real money that is)

and yes, your example is usually what i do. half of my sig earnings i spend. occasionally, if I can find a ring game, I put the whole thing (max of usually 250) into it, and it's been successful so far.

I am the last person you would ever see doing a 3.5k all in. (points at levi... ) because I am just not that lucky... my poker requires more skill than luck...

I know our guild is first and foremost a LS guild, but sometime I would like to organize a guild poker game for those that are interested. I will donate to a prize pool, can do something like a 6 man table, each buy in for x amount of chips, and the top 3 cash. 60% for 1st, 40% 2nd, 20% 3rd. I think this could be really fun, and a way to take a quick break from the grind, as well as a way for me to give back to you guys. (since im sooooo nice )

Let me know what you guys think, thanks to the new Events system this will be easy to setup.

Personally... with the added 22% HM... I think 600 is a good thing

Not sure on the mechanics of calculating.. but this is how I see it:

30 INT = 28.5 % enhancement to damage and healing (22% HM is pure healing? = 22 + 28 = 50% heal????) not really sure on this calculation
40 INT = 38% enhancement to damage and healing

I do hope it goes below that price though... 555fg is around its' value I think.

Still seems overpriced for a 55 robe to me. I would price that closer to 400-500, considering you can find 40+ int robes for around there.

holy freeholy.. have done about 15 mins of reading in here and i have to say i agree with about 98% of the things i have read 100%.. witch is a damn good thing!

my mage is 59 sammy 49
most of my mules are at lvl 5 so cloud if you wanna lmk on a time i could xfer my lvl 5 gear to em and hit up the maze questers.

i gotta take care of some irl things, trying to slash/poker in the meantime but not panning out to well.. what goes up must come down and vice versa.

supper is almost done here steak/scalloped potatoes/green beans (yeah my gf does a pretty good job at keeping my tummy full round here)

in any case slash hard!

p.s. amie 2-1-3 never fails!

e/ hope i find a replacement rod soon. got a bunch of half finished fish stacks
