its more of a process issue rather than anything else, his RAM is not only low capacity, but will be low frequency too, so it takes time to clear itself to be able to cope with a logon operation

Posting on a message board like jsp takes far less system and network resources than playing a flash game like LS. (although LS does not take a lot really)


I still dont know why it ran better before your format/reinstall Trev, thats something we should think about.


Maybe try finding an older version of FireFox? Perhaps before yours was a bit outdated and required less resources. I know my FF uses the seperate app "plugincontainer.exe" to run Flash and other stuff in it (shockwave, java, etc) and that could be something that's causing you trouble.

I always updated my firefox . had newest version before reformat too.
idk either.
pretty wacked imo that ls ran better before .
My computer in general tho runs ALOT smoother then it did before




I tried that before and those browser were worse.

imho get opera or chrome instead, FF is alot more process whore then both of them, yet is just more an established name
