So now that the year is over, I did alot of thinking.
I think we had a good year last year. I enjoyed the guild for the most part.
I hope you guys all enjoyed it as well. I think we all worked hard to be where we are today.
Andru and I created this guild to mainly give people a fun place to hangout and meet new people.
Death Guild is the only guild I have ever been in on D2JSP and plan on it being my last
We have gone a long ways since it was created, alot of people doubted us when we 1st made the guild.
Said we would fail and nobody would ever join. What little did they know is that alot of our members I have known for 5+ Years.
People that have been close friends before I even started D2.
People that have stuck with me from all my old clans over the years, from warring - playing SC.
And even then we were a top clan in my eyes. Alot feared/liked us.
Well to this day I get to sit back and look back on this and laugh at all that doubted us.
We not only are one of the most active guilds on the Guild Forums, but we have also been on page 1 of the Top Guild's list for a while now.
We are constantly growing and coming up with new ideas.
We have some really good slashers, Paul (Low-Ki) is one of the highest Ranked Hardcore LS Players on D2JSP. Very proud of him.
Carni, one of the best wellers/muters I have ever seen on this game. Not many people can sit back and say "Yea I muted another 200+ EE item"
Not many even get the chance to see a 200+ EE item LOL...
I have noticed alot of our slashers have been working as a team and racking in mass guild points. We are turning alot of heads.
I have been getting nothing but compliments about our guild. I have been asked a couple times to try and run for Trusted Tag/Mediator Tag.
I might consider this over time since I am on here enough as it is. I am close friends with a few meds/trusteds as it is and could see it happening.
But we have gone a long ways, conquered many tasks, worked well as a team, and everyones hard work has finally paid off.
Most guilds on the Top Guild's List only play Ladder Slasher..
We are a unique guild. Not only are we multi server, but we play all games also.
Most guilds play 1 game or play on 1 server.
We have players from West/East/Europe/All over the world playing RS, LS, D2, WoW, XboxLive, Neo, SC, Wc3, And many more games..
That alone says alot, that we can handle anything.
Alot of guilds have died back or quit due to the mass bannings on D2. I think we held together pretty well, alot took a break and might come back (Zombies)
But I have noticed alot of you started picking up on new games or still stick around to chat, which is nice.
I did alot of thinking before New Years and wanted to try something different this year, I have put alot of time/fg/ideas into the guild and wanted to give someone a shot
at being a co-leader of the guild. Andru was always my #1 guy but with all the drama he has had to go through, he wasn't able to help much.
He was there at 1st, but as you all know he lost his accounts numeroust times and needed a break.
He just recently had his D2jsp account stolen and it took a while to get it back.
He is still a good friend at heart, and will remain one of the original founders (Retired) and who knows he might come back one day.
But I decided I would like to give someone a chance to move up in ranks.
I took a long time in deciding who I would like to run Death with me. It was a very hard decision, alot of you are close friends and qualify.
The person I have selected reminds me of myself. I always see them giving more then taking.
They are pretty active on both our forums, always helping others when in need.
Has donated alot of time/fg to the guild as it is. Has helped me alot already with ideas/questions/fg if ever in need.
Is a very good friend to me and alot of us, very GM at heart.

I have decided to give Carnivalofcarnag the spot. It was hard for me to make the decision on who to pick.
But I honestly think Carni is well fit for the job and hope you guys are on the same page.
I hope this doesn't offend anyone and that you all can accept him as a Co-Leader and help take our guild to new lvls.
I do appreciate the hard work everyone else has done, from helping with promotions/demotions/recruiting/slashing/contests/raffles and much more to just being loyal and active.
I think he will do a good job honestly, and it would be nice to have 2 heads thinking of ideas/running the guild instead of just 1.
Its not like I can't handle it alone, I just thought it would be a nice change for the new year.
To give someone a shot at making our guild even better.
2x the fun/ideas/overseeing of the guild. So lets start this new year fresh and give him a nice congrats and take our guild to new levels.

We will be starting a contest on the 10th for LS, and another contest will be started this month for the most GP's/Attempts/Passes will be given a prize.
We will post this shortly, since alot have quit D2 I was thinking we could come up with some new contest/raffle ideas.
Not many would want a d2 mule.. so yea lets see what ideas we can come up with for this year. PM me w/e ideas you might have.
