I think its kinda fun...

because my mana pool at levels 15-30 was either complete SHIT or i sacrificed a lot of int and lost a lot of damage

i also was hitting 200-300 lower than mages with worse charms

What if you pass to pally? lol

Put casting charm in Main slot
Have 1 item with +2xx max mana

Notable things to include:
CS
AP

Those will help alot
By the time you are level 20, you will have a little decent Mana Pool, but learn to cast/melee with the build to be good or Cast/Tank

Oh... and you need heals later on... you will most likely be asked to heal all while casters deal better damage.
