As I stated before you CANNOT compare a level 1 character to a level 5 character as they will have different life values due to the difference in character level. You must level both chars to level 5 irregardless of where you stat vitality to make a fair and true comparison.

I've been looking at your previous posts now lol :D
You say
"20x2= 40. 20x36= 720. So if you saved those first 20 until lvl 35 you get 720 instead of 40 for adding at first."

This is completly wrong.

Alright, with your example above is
U wanted to stat your first 20 points into vita.
You are correct this is only giving you 2ea.
But what you forget is that you also get 20more life per lvl you get.

If this was a fighter, that means u would have 70vita.
70 vit gives u 70life per level = 70x 36 = 2520

If you was stating no life at all
you would have had 50x 36 = 1800
and you are correct with the math above here aswell, if u started adding vita at this lvl it would give you 36life per point. = 20x 36 = 720 as you said.
add the 720 + 1800 = 2520

its the exact same once again :)

you only try 1 char, make a new character and do the same thing to that one, but wait to stat your vitality.
do only rogue up to lvl 5 with the base vita at 35.
then u stat all into vit and you will see the exact same result :)

With the way you say it is, if u didnt stat any vita you would not have more than 70life as a rogue at lvl 71? xD

note: this was different in older versions of ls (alot older). you recieved more life for adding vita earlier. this was changed for mana and life which leeds to higher life and mana at the end

It seems like you dont understand what everyone is saying
It does not matter when you stat the vitality, you will always have the same amount.

What you are missing is that you actually get life from leveling up.
so if u stat at low level mean u get more life per level.
If you stat at high level means u get more life per point u invest.

If i didnt stat any vita at all i would have 70life on my warlock at lvl 100..

I have 3 identical Paladins that I will be more than happy to run as a test for this high-level, ultra-sensitive, brain-deadening discourse:

1. CrankyOldPhart

2. CrankyCritHitter

3. CrankenHeimer


All have 110 life, and 55 vit before adding the 14 stats that are part of normal play ( 2 passes, 11 fails on each)

I will place these 14 stat points in vit before I do the test - running each char from 1 to 10, and adding earned stat points as follows:

#1 - stat points added every level

#2 - stat points added every 5th level

#3 - stat points added at lvl 10.

I predict that there will be absolutely no difference in the life level no matter what method I use.


EDIT - I will be using identical gear for each char, which will be removed at the end, so that the life will not be item augmented
