that made me happy then i had someone who magically kept going afk on us ......

then we had a good one and the person running it left when they leveld

am i ever gonna be able to find a steady cata??

near Perfect + Max Mana (600 max @ Level 15)

Definately get it PC'd... I think it might be worth more and a Glypher might buy for more...

Okay... I need some advice on "Welling"... the best way I could explain this is by letting you know what I have tested:

My Character Level: 16 Barb... Pure Dexterity.

Items Character is using:
Arcane alloy sword
Level Req: 15
Damage: 14 to 147
+39% Enhanced Effect
+132 Max Life
+1 to 11 Life per Attack
+1 to 5 Mana per Attack
+1% Critical Flux
+1% Glancing Blow

Mythical alloy plate mail
Level Req: 15
Defense: 18 to 55
+23 Dexterity
+2 Intelligence
+486 Max Mana
+1% Quick Draw
+3% Heal Mastery

Rare heal V
Level Req: 10
Heals: 15 to 40
Mana Cost: 45
+22 Strength
+258 Max Life

I was able to successfully "Well" a TierVI (level15) Focused Heal...
Now it wasn't an easy monster that I would normally kill fast... but.. I did it.

Now... If I can do this successfully 100% of the time... is there any benefit to it?
Now I do know that if you get a "Side Drop"... it can be of the same Tier... which @ level 16 is quite good.

Are the magical properties of the drop altered in anyway because I am doing it at such a low level?

Anyway... I will test this further... just to ensure that I can achieve 100% success rate...

not sure how to explain all of that, but lets say you are level 15, and you are welling a level 20 item. the item can't have the max (level 20) stats, because you are only 15, so any stats it has (ee, str, max life, etc) will be capped at the 15 lvl mark, even though it is a lvl 20 item.

i believe the above statement is true.

as far as the side drop is concerned, your side drop is at minimum 9 levels lower than you are (hence welling at 64 for 55 side drop) so that may help you determine that. if you are lvl 16, you can get a lvl 5 side drop max.

i do know if you well at lvl 55, you will never find any lvl 55 side drops.

As for the first part I would not know... but the information is nice to know...

You CAN... get a level 15 side drop while welling a level 15 ITEM... I have actually done this 2 times already when testing more.

So far my Success Rate @ the moment: 5/6 successful/attempts.

I welled that with my barb about 3 weeks ago... so it is mine because I sold my 25 Str to iLegit when I welled my 17 Str one (less str but more mods... )

Glad you got a good PC on that armor... it is wise to get another opinion and also check MP to see if there are any similar and the prices on those.
It should give you a good indication...

Edit... so far 6/7 success rate...

I have noticed that I will need items similar but with INT on them... or maybe I can get better if I auto fail another 6 MQ attempts for the extra points...

maybe its the stats of the item that are 9 lvls lower, so you need to be lvl 64 to get the max stats (lvl 55) not sure why ill research why 64 is often called the best lvl.
