Well you've got to remember that the monsters all use real gear and stats - you oculd be fighting something with an axe (really consistant) but with a ton of dex, meaning when it crits you, you get hit like a truck.

Also some mobs are melee, some are casters. Casters attacks aren't effected by EE on armour, so they'll do high damage to you anyway.

PS Insane club. But as you are using clubs, I would recommended using much more DEX on you next build. Clubs are crit heavy weapons, and you'll want 100-120 dex in most peoples opinion. that will mean you crit about 1 out of 4 hits, and our crits will do more damage (about triple), and crits from monsters wont do as much either.

who needs a bit of extra damage from each hit when you can be doing triple damage every third hit?

i went pure str last climb, this climb i've gone 75dex and i'm noticing a difference. And i'm using axes, the least crit reliant out of all the weapons.

I run at 700 when I'm the only one in front and there's no healer. Every time I've played in the past few days, I've been left in the front alone - which is bs, if you ask me. I don't think it's fair that barbs and fighters hide in the front. News flash: my armor is not that amazing. If there's a healer with any mana, I stay. If I'm not alone in front, I stay till 200-300. But if I'm the only one in front without a healer, I'm leaving at 700 (I'm obviously talking at the later levels when a monster would actually hit me for 700) unless someone else wants to man up and stand in front with me.

I would also recommend focusing on dexterity. WAY more important than strength if you ask me. I personally add the first 10 to vitality, add maybe 10 points to strength and then go all dex (plus me +21 dex charm).

not much point in going vit on a sc character

just pump dex so its at ~100+ by the time you hit 55

o another note, new high hit: 860
