We have had the pleasure of accepting four members into our guild in two days. I have sent each one the following private message:Welcome to Ancient Blood guild. If you have not done so, please take the time to read our guild charter, found here:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/guild.php?a=13&i=963Please observe all the jsp rules.
Be kind to each person you meet while on jsp and LS. As a beginner, you will find many people dont want to keep you in a catacomb run once they see your gear and/or damage. As you progress, you will find items to use. Keep an eye out and watch for useful drops.
You will benefit from posting in our guild chat:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=38971071&f=42&o=2260This is the place to get to know your fellow members. Post up your level, character, time you will be playing.
We also use a private guild topic to do the same:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/guild.php?t=1208This allows us to post up our toons and not have the info lost in countless pages.
Dont get discouraged. We are here to help you. We want you to enjoy your new guild and playing Ls.
One tip:
You can transfer your gear to another character. This allows you to keep your inventory open to get more drops. To do this, make another character, a mule. Go to town, click marketplace, click transfer, drag the tiem to transfer into the box, select the toon you want to hold the item, click tranfer.
The item is now moved to that character.
Second tip:
To improve your odds of finding a game, make more than one character. Avoid random names like fjf]ewqf or HHDYS. It screams random player to others. Keep your characters or toons as we call them spaced. It will most definately help you find games. I try to have 3 or 4 toons spread in levels.
Good luck and enjoy,
Duke
