I doub't there will be any LS update, Paul was quoted saying this earlier:

"Upgrading some hardware, primarily for the database server. Adding even more power, redundancy, etc. Lots of improvements as a result of that, which will come at a later date. The lag spikes in the last day or so was from me pre-moving some content, so that it wouldn't take 4+ hours of downtime.

So basically, the site will be even faster, and even more future-proof for new features and updates. Thanks for your patience during the downtime. Ladder Slasher and the Instant Messenger will briefly go down, but should be up for a majority of the downtime."
