My Weekend thus far:
- Cut the grass and found a hole with two baby bunnies. They ran around the yard like crazy and as we have LOTS of hawks in the area, I felt compelled to catch em. Bad Move. As my plan was to shack them up for the weekend to get that out of the 3-6" of rain that was supposed to hit, my kids and wife went crazy for em. Well, I put the bunnies loose again in the yard but they now ran out and bought two guinea pigs. ...
- I'm now a soccer coach. I volunteered to coach my Son's five year old league. I'm confidant that by practice three that my team could probably take Todd's indoor team.
- Did I mention that I paid $$$ for two overgrown rats that will probably run around on this metal spinning wheel and keep me up all night?!?
yeah, my father likes chickens for some reason so he had a bunch that were free ranging in his yard. Some hawks killed a lot of them so we built a chicken prison for them. Made a sign(carved in wood) naming the prison, "ChickenTraz". No more hawk problems(the shotgun helped too). I have to go to his house tomorrow so I'll try to get some pictures of it, it's pretty funny.
If he ever decided to get rats, I think I'd just put some rat traps in the cage with them and then plead ignorance later on. His granddaughter had a cat for a short duration. I hate cats so, somehow, it went missing.
