No way! You can get 150-160ee on a lvl 55 sword for max 1000 Fg imo, even less.

I would get a set of staves with dex robes, so you're good to go till WL. You will pass to monk quickly since 3 doors only. Besides that, staves are one of the cheapest weapons so you're gonna get good ee for a good price. I've seen a lvl 20 staff with 112ee for 19.98 Fg on MP.
