You'd better start on your fire profs now or else you'll be the most useless warlock ever

I am actually quite content with keeping ninja, it's a class I have always wanted and never got. Warlock can wait.

i want a ninja so i can use my swords again
most of my swords have less ee than my staffs but i still like my swords better

To answer the first part of that, you earn guild points by attempting the master quest once you reach level 71. If you fail you get 1 gp and if you pass you get 2 or more, depending which class you pass. Pass a starter class and you unlock samurai and get 2 gps, pass samurai and you unlock paladin an get 5 gps, and so on.
To answer the second part, nothing at all. The only thing that guild points do is get you higher up on the guild list (which really doesn't mean much of anything at all, because people buy guilds with 1k gps or more )

Yep, this is true, but to add on to the last part... a 1k+ guild that does NOT get passed around like the town whore is actually one that I'd love to be a part of. Lots of respect come along with that, because not many people have got that far up there without having to resort to simply buying guild points or buying their guild already loaded with GP.

True that, and with the rate that guilds are being given away in the DF recently it's kinda ridiculous. But it's easy to tell, just look at all the top members and add up their points we've got over 500 points just in our personal ranks and higher and that definitely counts for something
