I just used like 60 ultra balls to try to catch suicune to no avail.

And mirage, don't puss out and use a master ball, be a man and keep at it with the ultra balls, did you try the potent confusion/sleep combo on him? Also may want to use a quick pokemon like Scyther with false swipe.

used thunder wave, then discharge. got his health down to literally 1 red pixel

used flash to lower his accuracy to the lowest point possible. then kept throwing those ultra balls... twice now i couldn't catch him with 60+ ultra balls
