Sigh this frustrates me,

WASHINGTON — Congressional leaders and the Bush administration reached a tentative agreement early Sunday on what may become the largest financial bailout in American history, authorizing the Treasury to purchase $700 billion in troubled debt from ailing firms in an extraordinary intervention to prevent widespread economic collapse.

Aim in, college football is competitive and passionate. Pro football is over paid, over rated, and above all lacks enthusiasm. Hell when your making 38 million an year win or loss you dont really give an shit.

Sweet, so that basically increases our already ridiculous national debt
If that prevents the economic crisis I would be very suprised - We just transfered the debt from a private organization to the one that runs our country...
Who the hell is going to bail them out! Were only 10.6 Trillion in debt now
My vote is for whoever gets this god damn spending under control

The spending isn't the problem. It's misplaced spending. A trillion dollars in Iraq. A trillion in Afghanistan. Five-hundred and fifty billion a year to the military, not counting R&D projects and emergency funds. Meanwhile you have a GOP candidate that says he would freeze all federal spending except to the military and veteran affairs, which is a big FU to your normal citizens.

A better plan would be to redirect spending to education, infrastructure, and energy development. All projects that would create American jobs and help stabilize the economy.

Again, spending isn't the problem, it's where the money is going and how much is going where.
