barb or fighter is easiest to get the hang of, and probably cheaper than gearing a mage.

however, mages can use area-of-affect aka TOASTY to damage all monsters, which is quite fun.

yea but try to stick with 1 char since you have no fg! and you already have a bunch of barb gear so i'd stick w/ barb or fighter

Not necessarily. Here's what I would do.

Make a fighter and a barbarian, simply because they can use the same gear, so you only need ONE set of weapons and armors and charms instead of TWO.

Climb one, when no one is on your level and you want to play, switch to the other. Having two characters at different levels gives you a better chance at finding a catacombs.

Lastly, make the mage, keep him/her low level. Gain proficiency in the damage of your choice, earth/wind is fairly cheap compared to the rest, ice/light is expensive. Use your fighter/barbarian to help find your mage better gear!

thats what i did for a while now i play mage and if noone is on i just reroll and solo to build profs barb is boring lol mage is sooo fun
