As many of you know Ladder Slasher is a Text Based RPG produced by njaguar. The most important part of the game is the items. I have been informed by members of the US Armed Forces guild that most of their players have low Fg and this is a comprehensive guide for them.
There are 4 Feeder Characters:
Fighter: A well balanced Melee Character.
Uses sword, club, and axe and has Heavy armor
Barbarian: A more Strength and Vitality Based melee character
Uses sword, club, and axe and has Heavy armor
Rouge: High in Dexterity and Intelligence, can be used for casting and melee
Uses sword, club, axe, dagger, and staff and has Medium armor
Magician: High in intelligence, used for casting
Uses dagger and staff and has Light armor
There are positives and negatives to all characters.
Fighter: Well rounded, Lower on life for players with less godly of equipment but still viable, low defense versus caster.
Barbarian: High Base weapon damage, High life, Lower Dexterity allows for less high damage critical hits, low defense versus caster.
Rouge: High chance for Good Critical hits, Good Defense versus caster and melee with high dex and intelligence, lower life, lower base weapon damage.
Caster: Low life, High Intelligence for good casting damage, low defense versus melee, low life
Most players when they create Character do a combo like this for their first stat points:
All to Vitality
5 to Vitality/5 to other stat they are maxing
All to Other stat
Strength: Not Commonly Maxed, adds to base weapon damage
Dexterity: Commonly Maxed for Melee, adds to defense and weapon critical hits
Intelligence: MAXED FOR CASTERS
DO NOT MAX VITALITY ( 10 points Max)
Gears:
Lower levels (1-10)
Melee:
Weapon mods to look for: Enhanced Effect weapon
Armor mods to look for: Dexterity and Life per kill and/Or life per combat round
Charm mods to look for: Dexterity and life per kill and/or combat round charm
Caster:
Weapon mods to look for: Enhanced Effect weapon
Armor mods to look for: Dexterity and Life per kill and/Or life per combat round
Charm mods to look for: Dexterity and life per kill and/or combat round charm
Yes casters are normally melee for the levels 1-10 (easier for most)
Mid levels (20-40)
Melee:
Weapon mods to look for: Enhanced Effect weapon, Stat you are maxing, Life steal
Armor mods to look for: Stat you are maxing, Life steal
Charm mods to look for: Stat you are maxing, Life steal
Caster:
Weapon mods to look for: Intelligence
Armor mods to look for: Intelligence
Charm: High Enhanced Effect
High levels:
Melee:
Weapon mods to look for: Enhanced Effect weapon, Life steal, stat you are maxing
Armor mods to look for: Stat you are maxing, Life steal
Charm mods to look for: Stat you are maxing, Life steal
Caster:
Weapon mods to look for: Intelligence
Armor mods to look for: Intelligence
Charm: High Enhanced Effect
HINTS AND TIPS:
Yes Good Gear costs A LOT of Fg.
Low Fg: For 1-10 equip try to spend about 3-10 Fg if you can. ReRoll your char when you cant level very quickly any more and are not finding gear. Sell the ok gear you get for 1+ Fg on the Market place so you can buy more Gear to keep leveling. This will be extremely annoying but it will help you because you will either find better gear for yourself or you can sell the items you find for more Fg that you had when you started.
Mid Fg: Either follow low Fg guide with better equip OR get to level 10 and continue to buy better higher level equip until you can get to the master quest at level 71.
High Fg: You just have one goal, GET TO THE MASTER QUEST AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
Remember that gear sharing is not “Not Permitted” but is a at your own risk kind of thing. I recommend sharing gear you are not using so others in your guild can continue to level.
More to Come
