Typically, killing your dad is considered a bad thing. It would, however, solve any issues you might have with getting booted off his notebook...

Edit: And no info can be given out about the MQ beyond that if you pass, you unlock the next class character and get rerolled to level 1. If you fail, you get rerolled back to level 1, get +1 stat point to start with, and start over. Aside from that, no information can be given about MQ until you've already attempted it.
