He ended up having to xfer to the other guy on the mp...

How in heaven do you grab an item by accident...
Don't you just have to click lower on the monster to be out of drop range?

I often pick up items that i dont need or want -- mainly as a result of the hectic kill-speed in the games -- the mobs are dead before you realize it, and your next click picks up an item -- especially if it's a drop of 2 or more

In your case t would just be a good occation for a spanking
