Hey all--just an idea. Jason and I more or less do this anyway:

Thought it might be more productive to consolidate our muting efforts. My vault is full of just about anything over level 20. Is anyone interested in pooling mutes and splitting profits on the good ones?

Generally, I give Jason my robes and staffs and fire charms. I give Dylan my Plates, Daggers, and Swords. It keeps my vault free, and if they mute someting good, I know they'll send me a tip or let me use it sometime. So here's what I propose:

We either pick designated muters (i.e send all heals to X, all clubs to Y, and all Scales to Z). The problem is not all mutes are equal, so if you mute a gozu scale, you still get screwed on price unless we resort to communism.

OR

We pick a single muter who tracks who sends him what, and splits only with the sender.

OR

Someone elses' suggestion. Just thought we could mute more efficiently if we work as a team.

The problem with your idea though is that new members who join could easily take all the good items in vault or simply take them and not even use them.

This idea works only in small clans with close groups of friends like Empire or Dream Companions.

Not to mention this is Hardcore and *noobs* could RIP 10k + worth of gear when themselves only have acces to like... 200fg worth of gear normally.

I don't think I'm willing to trust my Fg to people who aren't already established LadderSlashers or Trusted members in my eyes.

Ex: I lent an item to someone earlier to help them climb and that item has been sitting on a mule for 4-5 days now.  Not exactly what I had in mind when I offered to give the item to someone who needed it.

Personally I like sharing mutes Benny...we did it in TFE, and I remember making a 3.5k lvl 45 robe that just blew my mind because this was before I had ever had more than 700 fg, lol

so yea, im down with however we want to do it,  if we do the designated types for each person, just pick 2/3 for me, (axes, focused, wind, heal, clubs, chains, ice)  i can take any kind, but any 2 of those would make me most happy
