finallyyyyyyy i was able to update my reading here marie!!! (i had to not use mana regen gear and keep reading while recovering mana naturally )

i saw ur post and malte's also about diablo and the old times and it was very funny and fun at the same time cause it made me remember about my own extremellyyyyyy noobness in the beggining also! hahah!! god!! but one think i was telling dan one of these days : the best time in any games is exactly when we just started them. the noob days are in fact the most amuzing ones, when we get to know all in a game is when we start to see it as a job... still fun but not playing only for fun anymore (well, at least for me, maybe im too wierd! )

I can help you all especially on glyphing items and put them back to your vault afterwards to use.
You can also send any mystical+ lvl 5 items or lvl 10 items to me with any random stats for glyphing proficiency.

If anyone needs help with items or can not afford a vault, just let us know and we can take care of that.
I got a couple of items waiting for you to use. Its mainly melee gear that dropped on the wells and you can keep them.
Its nothing godly, but it could help to get you started

Hahaha yes exactly, its these times when we learn things together and do so stupid things because we just dont know...
But its fun to go through it together and laugh about ourselves.

Its a special time always when playing a game at the very beginning and it makes it unique when sharing it with friends.
When its all new one automatically pay more attention to it, especially for the little things and the details.
Once one gets used to it one easily looses the eye for the details and just wants to get from a to b with a straight look to the front.

Was not a good day yesterday...
One of these days one should rather stay in bed because everything goes wrong.


Since our Gimli to be aka James is currently traveling through the countries to proselytize the heathen non-ranters,
im going to represent him a little at the local camp fire and tell you the story till the master of all rants himself is back.

Sit next to me by the camp fire and have some marshmallows.
But beware, listening on own risk. You might find some traces of irony and sarcasm in the following lines:

Woke up at 5 am due to heavy rain and couldnt sleep any more although i was so tired.
The baker next door is on holidays still ( so was my hair dresser, is there something im not aware of and they shared the holiday? )
so i went to another one further away in the rain (that got heavier again after i was on the way already). This is the 1. time i got wet this day.

Was too lazy to put shoes on because its usually just 20 meters to the original baker
where i stood at locked doors this time and no smell of bread in the air. Just some smell of garbage from the cans that werent emptied yet.

With unfulfilled expectations for my breakfast and a fuming stomach i went on with my flip flops to the supermarket.
Had a touch of holiday just that the weather didnt want to play this game with me.

Had to help my father at 6 am in the store afterwards but he was kinda difficult that day, bitching all the time what i do wrong and i got pissed.
My theory: He doesnt like this other kind of bread from the new baker and this was his way of telling me to go to our baker again.
Maybe i should catch a flight ticket to spain and ask him to make me some on a hot stone...

Then i needed to go to the town to get a new power cable for my laptop.
Broke my old one the other day when i feel asleep in bed with it. Must have been wild dreams. I dont remember them though.
Of course the batteries were empty and i cant get access to the data on it. But i need it fast. My professor called me on Thursday
because ostensibly she didnt receive my term paper. The deadline is tomorrow. Funny thing she noticed this now...

Im sure i send it like 2 months ago, but i cant send a copy now because its on the laptop that doesnt work.
The original company where i bought it like 4 years ago needs 4-6 weeks to deliver it because its hardly produced any more.
Got a real ancient treasure here! But it always served me well and would gladly pure for me with a freezing screen when im opening to many programs again.
Well naturally I cant wait that long ofc or i will fail the course and not get the credit for all the work. ( it was like 20 pages and hours to deal with it... )
There was hardly anything on the internet and if so too expensive. Where are all the eebay sellers with their antiques when i need them?

Thus i gave it a try to boost the local industry once more and went to some shops in our town by bike as my sister had the car for the whole week.
The laptop with me in a plastic foil in the bag in case it may rain. ( that was a good decision, malte! *patting myself on the back* )
Tried 4 stores with the laptop under my arm, but except a pitiful smile or some laughter for my treasure
none had a cable that would fit because its a rather special one and too old...

Saw the rain clouds forming again and realized it might get wet again soon.
Exactly on the way back it had to pour down of course and i got soaking wet on my old bike with 3 gears.
I would be lost in some bike race if the mountains come, but no one would ever try to steal this bike haha.

So this was 2. time i got wet this day and this time it was a real bath. I cant remember to have showered in such an exhaustive manner!
My special friends the cars got nothing else to do than drive through the wet spots and splash me with more water + some mud bonus on top
Looked like a pig when was at home and i was dirty and wet, too

Not nice because im still suffering from the last protracted cold and couldnt go to my beloved soccer for the whole time...
The laptop survived it fortunately thanks to the plastics, in fact it was the only thing that was still dry.

Being at home i got the next shout for being such an idiot to go to the town in that weather and look like that now.
I skipped to say my thoughts why i had no other choice and this is unjust until our baker is back and we talk about it during a good meal.

To round up the excellent adventurer look, i accidentally cut myself while shaving afterwards.
Got wet for the 3. time afterwards to score the straight hat-trick,
but this time it was more controlled water under the shower and rather warm and comfortable for the firs time.

Need to drive to another town today and pray they got my power cable hopefully, time is running out...
The professor is merciless like some cliché evil witch in a movie + she is looking like that without any additional masks even.
She will neither have a look if SHE lost it ( what in fact is the case! ) nor give me some additional days after i explained her the problem.
Either i find that cable today and sent it to her or i quickly have to go for some excessive brainstorming session
and write some mess today to send her anything at least to get some credit instead of an instant fail when i send nothing.

Wanted to relax and get into a better mood with some catacomb games afterwards, but there were none up at all and the few groups around just bailed me.
Its frustrating to wait so long for a party and put glyphs on people but soon after they just go away and join another group.
Thats like a neighbor who asked for some flour and our hedge trimmer and a few weeks later he moved away again. With the flour + the trimmer.
He got my blessings, I hope he finds his happiness in some well trimmed hedges far away enjoying a plate of flour as he looks at it.


In general its not easy to find groups at all lately because there are no players online at all in my time zone.
Guess they are going solo or hiding somewhere till im sleeping.

Went solo all the way then which was not too nice as melee Samurai.
Fortunately Marie had some of her godly items to help me out, was grinding hard before without any own good melee stuff.
But i wanted to get it done that day to finish the climb finally and hopefully end up with some passes in the end after all those fails...
Reached 71 in the evening finally and will go for them later today when everyone is awake.


After that Samurai Sorrow i needed some solace and welled a couple of items on my mage in the evening.
Then a spiderthread padded robe dropped, my first lvl 55 item since a very long time...

I thought ok, this was such a bad day, why not have some luck again finally to make it good.
Put some glyphs on to be sure i make it and started. It was SO hard to deal damage.
Probably a caster mob and i was sure there must be some int on the item because i dont have much difficulties usually.
It almost cost my whole mana bar and i feared to loose it at times even.

Then i won and i just saw the numbers at first sight. And then i read more closer again what the letters say:

Well yeah, on some days shit hits the fan and it would have been better to stay in bed!!!

Looking forward to better days again, i guess it cant get worse any more.
Oh wait it will rain the whole weekend, we didnt have water in the basement for quite some time

Anyone up for some indoor swimming under our roof? We could put on the washing machine for some whirlpool effect.
You are all warmly invited and we can go upstairs for some hamburgers later.
