2reasons for the 2 chars.

Mario has an endless Combo - that was maybe a bug but if he is doing the up-jump trough an enemy and dunno how to call the other attack in the air he can go on forever.

Link has sth. like a hook its the longest range to catch another player + bomb + boomerang + the gosu sword move where he turns around his own axis.

Yap Fox is pretty nice because he has the "blue shield" whats make it impossible to attack him with melee attacks but still - once i have you with mario u r fucked. Dunno if you knew but mario(luigi) were banned from tournament fights because of their imbaness.
