Is muting just as random as it used to be, or did it become more viable now that it's ridiculously hard to mute high level gear?

You have to build up prof to be able to mute high level items.

Basically you need like 4-5 prof HIGHER than the item you are trying to transmute.

Wanna mute 55's you need 60 prof etc.
