what was your tactic on your climbs?
dont know if i should buy dex gear and put everything into str
or if i should buy str gear and put everything in dex
or if lifesteal is more usefull then ~50 other stats

i use swords so i dont know if i should go for dex for higher crits or str for higher base dmg

Put 120 in dex and rest to str.

If you will have minimum 50+ stats(str/dex or both) armor and charm go this tactic:
130dex and rest str.

If you buy one of gear with str and other one with dex it will be more flexible to change in any moment.
About Life Steal:
Life steal was very good before 1.09 update. Now is good for solo but not good like was....
To use Life Steal now u need very Good dmg.

I use few tactics:
-From 1 to 45 i have only str/dex items.
-130dex /1xx str for catas after lvl 45. ( life steal isnt work on catas)
-1xx dex / 1xx str + life steal when im playing solo after lvl 45.
-130 dex/1xx str after lvl 60 because after this lvl its hard to get a lot of life from Life Steal.

Its all dependable to your Items + Char.
Better Items with stats + life steal/life per attack/life per kill etc = faster climbs ^^
