yes, you are slightly wrong ;)

durability = how many times it can break before you lose it. so if you have a 10 durability pole, it can break 10 times before your pole is gone.


Sorry but that is incorrect... it can snap on first fail...
durability helps you fish easier... that is all.

I have broken 35 / 15 / 22 dura splintered already... all at first fail (when the fish beats you)
I did notice that it was easier fishing with them on compared to normal ones.

yes, first pass with any character unlocks samurai.

E: Nev and I are going to do the "complete the maze" quest soon, anyone wanna join? must be level 5+, i am 5 and i believe nev is too, so you would need to be lvl 5-8 to join us. ;)
