Diablo II Guild Chat - Topic

Craaaaaaazy day at the temp agency today. Was filling out my final paperwork and the person working there (by herself. It's a small town) was telling a guy in her office that he wasn't eligible for a job at the time because he had an assault misdemeanor and 8 years without working. He leaves disgruntled and says something like "I'm good but I ain't got no luck". Then he comes back couple minutes later and says "If I can show paperwork that I wasn't charged with assault would that help?" Mind you he already said he was on probation... So she says "You can come back Thursday with whatever paperwork you have and we'll look over it again. But with your recent assault and your major gap in work history, I'm not entitled to employ you through our services." He leaves cussing, slamming door etc. He comes back in a third time a minute later and the lady gets up and says "Sir. This is the third time you're in the office and I'm starting to feel threatened. I told you you can come back in a few days and we'll look it over. There is nothing I can do for you now." he goes on about "It was domestic violence. I was just fighting with my brother. It's not a big deal." huffing and puffing. Finally he leaves... all the while I'm just sitting at the table thinking "Dear God am I going to have to get in a fight here? Is he going to get violent?" Instead after he leaves she locks the door and calls another office near us where I guess she knows a dude who is big and burly etc. She just smiles at me and we go into her office because I am done with the paper work, and we start talking about the job I'm going to be getting etc, and we hear the door to the place start rattling and someone knocking. It's him and his mom, and she's cussing and swearing. We ignore it and keep doing the interview/finishing up process... then she gets a call and it is his mom calling about his job placement if he's getting one etc... she tells her he can be the only one they talk to because he's over 18. He gets on the phone and says "It wasn't a big deal I need a job now." "I'm sorry sir I can't help you." Hang up. They sit outside the door for a period of time and I assume leave because we didn't hear/see them again. They started walking to the car and the lady says "Oh she's in a walker... I could definitely take her... and he's probably doped up on something I could take him too. I'm not too worried anymore." Hahahahaha.

I got a job.
