Two fails on the first door now.
I'm going to start a mage and somehow get him to 55 with no items.
Figure I'll buy some gear and try to well with him.
Gotsta make FG somehow.

Edit: Any certain level it's best to start using charms to fight with instead of weapons?

Softcore, I assume?
I'd probably go 1-5 melee and then hybrid up until about 15 or 20. It all depends on what type of gear you have.
Some people prefer casting from lvl 1 and some don't like to cast until 15-20 or so.
