A BEGINNINGFor they are the Seraphim.
They bring order and justice to the farthest stretches of the universe.
The balance of good and evil is ever maintained through their vigilance and efforts.
Long before the days of the realms of Earth, prior to the Great Fall of Lucifer and his followers, other worlds were threatening to upset the balance of good verses evil.
Monsters, both weak and unimaginably strong, roamed the countrysides in search of victims, killing all they saw, and growing fat off the blood of corpses.
Fell mages, drawing the very life forces from the worlds they walked blasted anything in their path to a dark nothingness.
Fear and hopelessness was paramount, in these realms of death and destruction.
Humankind, still young, new, and barely developed, was sorely tested in it's survival.
Seeing the threat inherent in the worlds of war, should these evils spill onto other, less magical worlds, the great power directed his Angels, his Guardians of balance, to go to that world, to restore the balance.
However, the rules of this set of worlds was far different than other worlds. The angels could not enter themselves. They could but direct their actions through an avatar, an image of themselves projected through the mists of time and space. Feeling their power drastically diminished, at their arrival, they understood, finally, what it was to be human.
They are the Seraphim, and so their battle begins....hoho ... guess who's home?
