Hey guys, i am a friend of erich's ( aka otteR) and i am just starting l/s

Erich is afk like 95% of time and i sorta need some help/answers.

I'm having a hard time playing l/s and very confused.

ISO: Knowledge about everything from how you attack, just click on monsters with any char?

Or are there specials or anything, or is it just the effect of charms, + how do you get charms, and how do i know what i should throw away / keep.

._. How do i use the heals, i have angelic focused heals and such ._.

A lot of what you are asking can be found in the new portal page (just click the "Play Ladder Slasher" link at the top of the page). The rest, such as knowing what items are good and such will come with experience. But to answer your questions...

Yes, you attack by clicking the monster. You can either hit with melee (weapon) or a spell (charm).

The "heals" are a form of charm that heal you instead of doing damage. To use these, you must have them either equipped to the main charm slot or the accessory charm slot (accessory charm loses 25% of the heal/damage and gains no stat bonuses, meaning for example that if the charm heals for 4-8 normally, it will only heal for 3-6 in the accessory slot. If the charm lists a stat such as 500 to max life, you won't ge tthat bonus if it is in your accessory slot). Select the charm and then click your name.

You can click the icons next to your life/mana bar to switch between attack types, or you can use Q(Weapom), E(Main Charm), and A(Accessory Charm) to switch between them.

That should be enough to get you started anyways, but you should really browse the portal page, it has a lot of useful information for new players.

What is Red font items? I keep putting em in the trash assuming they are broken and useless, like a cracked sash in d2.

And for the market.. can i sell things i find, when i put it in the box it says Sell Ice I - - - 1 - - - Seller Fee: 0.05

The red font is items you can't use for example if the requirement is to high lvl 55 or so,or if you're not able to use it like if you're a magician all axes/clubs/etc. will show red.

for the market every time you want to sell an item you'll have to pay a small fee,for putting it up 5%
