What does ED do w/ charms?

Enhanced Effect ( or "ED" ) adds damage to whatever it is on. If it is on a weapon, it adds to weapon damage. Charms add to charm damage, heals add to heals, armor adds to defense, etc.

It is one of the main stats in LS, and highly sought after as a main stat on most items (except robes since no one plays tank mage)

since I go the pure damage route, my swords all have ENHANCED EFFECT on them, my armors all have +DEX and other nice mods, and my charms all have +STR and other nice mods.

Armor Mass ED
Charm Mass Str or Dex (in my case whatever is cheaper :))

Yep, that build will work fine, it will allow you to do good damage with ee on weapon and STR/DEX on charms, and still be able to tank well with the ee on armors.
