*For example, if you have 400% MF, the chances of you finding a unique item are 236 out of 1223 (19.3% chance to be unique).
*The chances of you finding a unique, even with the "perfect MF %", are still totaly random and based upon a roll of a dice.
*In Diablo 2, MF only effects item quality, not quantity of items dropped.
*After about 350 to 400% magic find, there is a dramatic drop in the ratio of magic find to the % chance of finding unique items. For example, adding 100% more magic find, and moving from 300% to 400% MF only grants you a 24% better chance of finding unique items! i have 400-420 mf i assume thats just gonna make more magics pop up if anything???

the chart just shows that only magic items increase porportional to your mf. rares, sets and uniques have diminishing returns.


at the table shows, with 100% mf you'll have a 100% better chance of finding a magic/set/rare/unique item
with 1200mf, you'll have a 1200% better chance of finding magics, but only a 305% better chance of finding uniques

note that doesnt mean you'll find less uniques and more magic - you'll find more of both

more mf is always better but not if you sacrifice too much kill speed - and at the higher levels of mf the returns on uniques (the things you're really looking for) diminish hugely.

gg magic/rares are FAR more expensive than even the real elite uniques, other than say perfect nightwings/fathom and perf eth armors.

personally i like having more of them drop.

just setup a new run, now got granny farming the lower kurast superchests and armor/weapon stands.

seems to be working pretty well, found a few interesting things last night but need to run a lot more to determine if it's going to be successful.

did some leveling a little on LS last night, pounded out some glyphs and tried to solo for a bit on my rogue but it gets boring fast. thought about hiring a crew to bring me to MQ, but then that just sounded kinda silly. anyone gonna be around tonight? level 45 and ready to do some climbing.

Well, I had the same run minus the lower kurast. Got another R/D for 3 hours last night. Grandma is just to fast, or chickening out to fast. Not sure which lol.
Got her a new 12 pack on monster energy drink so I can keep her up and running. Getting ready to set her back up after her all night nap.

I have asked this before but. For a barb. Can someone pm me the stats I should look for on the following (Weapon,Armor,Charm) Like the top 3 stats on each. So I can try to ninja stuff out of pugs and try to make fg that way to.
