I disagree Ed, Samurai caster is no different than any other caster. The only difference is you are missing ~ 50 damage. The 1-35 or 1-40 climb is faster because it has the best melee stats in the game, and regens are extremely quick.


Its only downfall is the catacombs, because you can't heal much -- low mana pool.

Let me clarify. My comment is specifically about the mana pool. (That's how it all started)

I'm enjoying playing him caster a lot. 1-40 went pretty quickly and casting now is a fun change of pace. I'm blowing through single mobs much faster than melee, but can only do 4 or so before regen. While regen speeds are quick, they're frequent.

What I really need is some good Max Mana secondary mods.

No mana Pool for wells. Pally Caster is much more effective.
